East predicts five-figure cost saving with Rapid

East, the women’s lifestyle clothing and accessories retailer is implementing the RAPID Store Management System from Retail Answers, which is predicted to save the retailer £11,000 a year in print and postage costs alone. Other benefits include compliance monitoring in all stores, the collection of data from stores using on-line forms and automatic integration with Microsoft Exchange.

Rapid has been designed to be implemented quickly and smoothly. Configuration options provide the right amount of flexibility while not being overly complex and the web-based architecture means that it is simple to deploy across both head office and store networks with the minimum of overhead. RAPID will operate seamlessly on the existing tills, the new tills and iPads in East’s stores as well as PCs in head office.
